Long Island Coalition Against Censorship is an association of educational and community organizations which have joined together to oppose censorship and to defend the rights of free speech and free press as guaranteed by the First Amendment to the Constitution of the United States. The Coalition operates as a standing group available for action in situations where First Amendment freedoms are threatened. It also publishes two exhibits on censorship and conducts an annual program focusing on a current censorship problem.
